In this video, Eric Lippert discusses the
key differences between Coverity’s source code analysis for C# and that
of Microsoft’s FxCop. The Coverity platform looks for critical crash
causing issues
while FxCop looks for coding style and standard issues. In a recent
experiment, the two solutions had absolutely no overlap in results.
